The two grades are offered for different corrosion conditions. Hastelloy C22 (UNS N06022 / DIN 2.4602) provides resistance across a broad range of oxidizing and reducing environments, while Hastelloy C276 (UNS N10276 / DIN 2.4819) is widely specified for severe corrosive chemical service. Grade selection depends on the process media, operating conditions and piping specification.
